All work and no play makes Lee a dull son of a gun. How about you?
You wanna know what really puts a smile on this kid’s face? 70’s music. All day, son.
In fact, I would go so far as to call the 1970’s the most creative and adventurous musical decade of the 20th century… along with perhaps the 90’s.
And I ain’t necessarily talkin’ disco here… although I personally don’t have a problem with a lot of the great disco tunes of that era.
But I’m mostly referring to the phenomenal rock music this era produced. The Eagles, Steely Dan, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Blondie, Journey, Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones, Queen. Good stuff, man.
Also the pop, funk, folk, punk, and soul genres really thrived in this decade. Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, John Lennon, the Ramones… man, I could just go on and on.
So today, I’m dedicating this blog post to some of my favorites from the nineteen hundred and seventies, yo!
Let’s peep a few vids. Then, I’m going to share one of my most treasured “foofy” drink recipes with you. And then, who knows? Maybe we’ll get our shake, shake, shaken booties back to work or something! But for now…
70’s Music Videos
Gosh. You know, there are so many… it’s hard for me to choose which songs and videos to feature. So, ummmm….
I’m Taking Requests!
Leave me a comment below and tell me one of your most cherished and beloved songs from the 70’s. I will add that video to the list above. Let’s have a little fun with this! And speaking of fun…

If you’re a dude, whip this one up to impress your lady (or yourself… hell, I like this drink… and it doesn’t get much more MAN than me! 😉 )
If you’re a lady, I’ll be here all night. You can thank me later. Gawd, I’m freakin’ hopeless!

This is a truly delicious drink. I would dare to presume that you’ve probably never tasted anything quite like it. It’s got character, kid… just like you! 😉
So what do you think… should we talk shop for a little while. I mean, this is a stinkin’ list building blog, right? Ummmm, nah! Not today!
I suppose I can share a little somethin’ somethin’ with you.
This has been my first month of 1 on 1 personal coaching. And I absolutely LOVE it. I’m supposed to be spending half and hour a day, 3 days a week with each of my 10 clients.
I really want these guys to find success THIS MONTH. I’m damn committed to it actually. So I’ve been spending HOURS a day with some of these folks. And they’re really starting to get it. I can see the success unfolding.
It’s amazing what happens when you take care of the fundamentals. And they’re doing it! I’m so incredibly proud of my students. And I’m already looking forward to a new batch of success-oriented folks in April.
10 more slots will be opening up (minus any of my current students who renew). If you think you might be interested in getting personal coaching from me via Skype, by all means let me know.
It’s really a whole lot of fun… and I’ll make sure you’re doing exactly what’s necessary to find great success in this business!
Anyway, just a thought.
I hope you’ve had fun reading this super short blog post and watching those videos. Perhaps I’ll feature another decade of music in the near future. But for now, please leave your 70’s music video request in the comments below.
I’ll make sure it goes up!
Your friend in list building and life,
